Happy Halloween!

This year was such a fun Halloween with the kids. Dylan & Abbey soaked it up and it was fun trick or treating in our new neighborhood. There were lots of fun activities all week. Dylan & Abbey had a fall festival at school on Tuesday so mommy's friend Carol watched Ellie for a couple hours while she volunteered. Then we went trick or treating at daddy's work. For actual Halloween weekend Pa came into town to visit and that was the most fun! Ellie had sweet cuddles and laughing with Pa. She also did great for trick or treating. Well she rode in the stroller or was being carried while watching the big kids score serious candy! She sported the scaredy cat costume, which was actually Dylan's for his first Halloween (awe!) Anyways, it was a super fun holiday this year!

Happy FOUR month birthday!

Four months is such an exciting time for a baby! There is such a huge developmental leap during this time. Ellie is turning into such a little person. She is much more aware of her surroundings and becoming a pro reaching/grabbing things with her hands. One of her favorites is Mommy's hair (ouchie!). She loves to grunt and hum. She is definitely a thumb sucker. She loves being worn in the baby carrier and takes naps that way, she is also still sleeping in the pack n play in mommy & daddy's room. Naps either take place there or in the swing still. She LOVES watching her brother & sister and talking to them. Abbey still smoothers poor Ellie and is obsessed with her but it's sweet. Her favorite toys are Sofie the giraffe, any teething toy, the little Caterpillar toy and stuffed animals. We went to a new pediatrician for Ellie's 4 month apt (since moving) and she got a good report of health. She weighs 15 lbs is 25.25 in height and 41.5 in head circumference.

First Camping Trip!

It's like initation into the Halliday family, we LOVE camping! Ellie went on her first camping trip the second weekend in Oct. @ Garner State Park by San Antonio. Ellie did great for both 6 hr car rides and while roughing it in nature! She slept like a trooper and enjoyed being outdoors. We especially loved being worn in the baby carrier by Mommy. Of course mommy didn't get nearly as many photos as I wanted to but here's a few!

Growing so quickly & things are getting easier.

I can't believe how quickly little miss is growing. She's a chunky monkey! It's been so nice, since MDO has started for Dylan & Abbey, Mommy & Ellie have gotten to spend more time together, just the two of them. Overall, we have all gotten into a great routine and things are going well and getting easier.

Summertime fun with friends & family!

We've had so much fun this summer spending time with family & friends enjoying our new home and swimming pool. Techniqually Noelle's been sleeping through most of it, but she'll be in the pool before too long!
